The start of a new year often arrives loud. Full of plans, pressure, and declarations. This one has felt different for me.
I’ve been in a learning season. A transition. The kind where you don’t quite know what the next shape will be, only that the old one no longer fits.
Writing has become the place I keep returning to. Substack, especially, has felt like home. A place to think in paragraphs instead of strategies. To listen instead of perform. Somewhere in that quiet, something unexpected happened. I started writing novels and children’s books, a dream I tucked away long ago and assumed I had outgrown.
The truth is, the new year doesn’t ask us to reinvent ourselves. It asks us to remember.
To remember the dreams we set aside. The parts of ourselves that didn’t disappear, they simply waited until there was space. Sometimes we outgrow old dreams. Sometimes life just asked us to survive for a while. There’s something powerful about being in midlife and remembering who you are again, setting boundaries, and finding joy in that remembering.
That’s the season I’m in.
As I move through this year, I’ll be sharing more here. Letters, reflections, rituals, and pieces of my writing as my book takes shape. Not as a performance, but as a practice. A way of staying connected while I listen for what’s next.
If you’re in a season of recalibration too, I want you to know this: joy is still possible. Alignment is still available. You don’t have to rush toward it.
For those who feel called to begin the year with extra support, I’m offering the Sacred Season Reset. It’s a gentle energetic experience designed to help you enter this season feeling rooted, peaceful, and aligned with what truly matters.
It’s not a productivity reset or a plan for becoming someone new. It’s a pause. A return to center.

However this year is beginning for you, I hope it meets you softly.
With warmth,
