The Weekly Return 13-19
A note & reading for the week of May 13
Welcome to my new weekly newsletter: the Weekly Return! Each week, I’ll share a message, a reading, and some bonuses. Enjoy and be sure to subscribe!
Caroline, why do you do your weekly newsletter on a Wednesday? That’s a great question! I’m not a fan of Monday and honestly never have been.
When I think about how I like to spend my week, Wednesday is not a hump day; it’s actually a rest day for me. It’s the day when I’ve caught up on my client work and can focus on my own projects. This is my rhythm.
Just because the week starts on Monday and the year starts in January, doesn’t mean it has to for us. You are allowed to create your own rhythms in the year, weeks, and days. So when this arrives in your inbox on Wednesday, don’t think it’s weird that I start my week there. Think of it as a breath of fresh air in the middle or beginning of your week.
I always start my collective readings by tuning into my guides and asking, “What does the Collective Need to Hear?”
Switched up our decks this week. I’m using Tarot for Kids. My kiddos love it, and it’s just been speaking to me lately. Enjoy!
Seven of Cups Reversed: As the New Moon asks us to plant seeds, maybe you don’t know what that is. You have a clear choice in front of you, but life is getting in the way. Take a minute for yourself. Sit with what you want, and it will become clear again. You need a break to spark your imagination.
The Wheel Reversed: It feels as though the wheel has stopped turning. Things aren’t going the way we want. Maybe they are, but it seems to be taking forever. This card calls us to tap into our patience, but not passively. What can you do today to move the wheel, even a centimeter?
Six of Coins: We need each other to balance the scales. How are you contributing to the greater good? How are you bringing kindness to your world? Perhaps someone has been unkind to you. Don’t let it overtake you so you forget who you are. Remember, we are all connected.
Surrender from Witchcraft Therapy Oracle: This matches our wheel reversed very well. Surrender calls us to let go of something. Maybe it’s the need to control or that patience that is being asked of us. The guidebook says to float, don’t fight. Where in your life have you been fighting so hard? What would it look like to float instead? Don’t think of this as giving up; think of it as taking time to care for yourself.
If this reading moved something in you.
Sometimes we need someone to sit with us in it — not just read the cards, but really listen. If you’re ready for a personal reading, I have a few spots open this month. You can find all the details and book your session at
